This place suits me perfectly, offering free parking, great Wi-Fi, and a bar/lounge area. I remember when the staff lent me a phone charger during my first stay. A fun tip, ask for the pensioner's menu for great value! I'm coming back for Christmas.

Our stay was lovely with a spacious chalet that had stunning views of the sea, and we especially enjoyed the hearty breakfast with the smoked haddock and poached egg, yum! The garden area was perfect for a relaxing afternoon, and we appreciated the outdoor seating for evening drinks. The only small thing was that we wished for some extra blankets for a cozier night, but overall it was a great experience! ☀️

We had a wonderful time exploring the nearby beach, perfect for a fun family outing. The large room with stunning ocean views was a fantastic surprise for the kids. The breakfast was plentiful, keeping everyone satisfied for our day ahead.
My kids wished there were more kid-friendly activities available, perhaps a play area would be great.

I stayed in the King Room with Sea View. The view over the bay was fantastic, really enjoyed waking up to that! The room was spacious, which is always a plus. the bed felt a bit too firm for my liking. The staff were cheerful, and the breakfast was good, but the coffee could use some improvement. it was comfy enough for a couple of nights.

Consider asking for a room away from the corridor for a quieter night’s sleep, as sound can travel easily between rooms.

the staff were super friendly n helpful. the food was delicious, especially the breakfast which had plenty of options. our room was really large n had a nice view of thurso bay. also, location was great, close to the ferry! i had an amazin time overall.
but the decor in the lodge felt kinda dated, and there was a lot of noise from the corridors. it made it hard to sleep sometimes.

Location is convenient, just a mile from the ferry. The beds in the Deluxe King Room were cozy, making it easy to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast options were delightful, with a good variety to choose from. Service was heartwarming, especially when the staff went the extra mile to make my dad's birthday special. I found the decor in the lodge dated. Noise from the corridors was bothersome, disrupting the restful vibe. It would be great if they improved sound insulation. breakfast was a bit slow to arrive, so plan accordingly if you’re in a hurry.

The location is a highlight, being a short 20-minute walk to the town and offering lovely views of the water. While the room was nicely decorated with a good shower, the hotel felt a bit tired and in need of maintenance. Breakfast service was chaotic and the quality disappointing, although the beds were incredibly comfortable for a good night's sleep. Fresh seafood on the menu was a definite plus during dining.

Had a great time with friends! We fished the Pentland Firth and enjoyed the local sports coverage. The staff were friendly, and the spot was perfect for relaxing and playing billiards. be prepared for slow breakfast service. a solid experience.
The rooms were really basic, and noise from the next room was noticeable. My son's sofa bed was uncomfortable. It didn't match the price we paid.
